Sunday, August 10th: Bowen Island

Early ferry to Bowen Island to catch the morning light. We will be spending the whole day on the island capturing the beautiful natural landscapes, as well as photographing with 2 professional models to learn my portrait photography techniques.

Monday, August 11th: Reel Room, East Vancouver

  • ‍Workflow Optimization: Efficiently import, organize, and structure your digital assets.
  • ‍Photo Editing Masterclass: Advanced Lightroom and photoshop editing, from import to polished export.‍
  • Video Editing for Social Media: My efficient process for creating captivating Instagram Reels.

Things to bring:
-  Camera or a mobile phone. If you’re going to be using a mobile phone, please download the Moment Camera App beforehand.
    ⁃    Laptop with Adobe Lightroom Classic installed (make sure its the classic version of the software).
    ⁃    Hardrive

If you don’t have access to a camera or many lenses, Sony will be providing us some gear to use for the shoot day. However I don’t think there will be enough for all of you, so it’s best to bring your own equipment.

A FEW NOTES about the workshop:
  • Food during the workshop is included. This will mostly be lunches and dinner.
  • Transportation during the workshop is included, however you can drive your own car if you want to.
  • Ages 16+ are welcome.
  • Once you sign up, a questionnaire will be sent for you to fill out. This will help us prepare for dietary restrictions, experience level, etc.
  • A more detailed itinerary will be emailed to students a week prior to the workshop beginning.
  • Accommodation is NOT included.
  • You will get the most out of this course if you bring your own laptop (with Lightroom Classic installed) and your own camera.
  • If you need to cancel more than 1 week in advance, there is a non-refundable deposit of $199.
  • There will be no refund if you need to cancel less than 1 week in advance.
